A riding trip by Cindy My family has been to Ilan many times, and this time we went to Ilan on August 24th. This time, though, was my first riding trip.
On the first day,we went to Wufen mountain by car. Then, we went bicycle riding to get up Wufen mountain. There is a Weather Bureau on the top of this mountain. We spent two hours riding bicycles until we finally arrived. The view was very good and the scenery was very beautiful. In the afternoon,we went to Shuang Si in Taipei. We ate a bowl of ice shavings and it only cost us thirty NT dollars(which is one dollar in America). It was very cheap and delicious.
On the second day,we went to Ilan by car.We bought many things to eat at the Ilan center. Then, we went to Taiping mountain in Ilan where we spent almost three hours. We stayed at the foot of Taiping mountain that day.
On the third day,we drove our car to a parking area ,and then we started to ride bicycles. This way was about 16 kilometers, and this was just going there. We still had to come back. My father and my young brother came back first. My father had driven the car to catch up with my mom and me. We put our bicycles in the car, and I fell asleep fast. When I woke up,we were in Ilan. We spent the night in Ilan, visiting Lo-Tung's night market and ate alot of delicious food. The last day,we didn't ride bicycles. We went hiking in Ilan, and then we went back home. What a hard trip!
