The Ethics in Action Award

Is there a business or individual you know that is working to balance principles and profits for a better world? You can nominate them now for an Ethics in Action (EIA) award, now in its 13th year. EIA is BC's respected voice in ethical business practices. While Corporate Responsibility penetrates mainstream business, there's still ample room for leadership and innovation as companies find ways to differentiate themselves and to stand out for their particular social and environmental programs and practices. So who's doing what? This year the BC Ethics in Action Society has adjusted their nominations process in order to attract broader participation. The goal is to hear more news about businesses and business leaders who are championing Corporate Responsibility.

The new on-line nomination process takes only 5 minutes to fill out, and nominees are then invited to apply for awards in the business categories of overall leadership, community care and environmental excellence. There is also a reward for individual impact for a leader who champions corporate responsibility.
