Formosa was the original name of Taiwan. The Portuguese named it, "Formosa" to mean that it was a "beautiful island". Traveling to this island was wonderful, because the weather there was warm. There were many sweet fruits, delicious foods, and the MRT was fast.
My starting point was Keelung. In Keelung , I first went to eat Keelung snacks, like pineapple cakes, omelets, chop noodles…….
After the Keelung snacks, my next stop was Taipei. Taipei is famous for Taipei 101. It is a very tall building in Taiwan.
In Taiwan, there were many places that were good to hang out in or where the foods were delicious. There's no way I could list them all down. Let me just list some important and famous dishes, like Changhua's Meatballs, Ilan's roast duck, Kaohsiung's fruits , etc. Incidentally, the World Games was headed there, too. It was so exciting!
