Vera's Diary for Beginners, VD # 003, On the way to work

VD # 003, On the way to work I go to my car. I open the car with the key.

I get in my car.

Then I fasten my seatbelt.

I put the key in the ignition and I start the car.

I turn on my MP3 player.

I listen to a lesson in English.

While driving my car I learn English.

At first I am driving on a country road.

A road connecting small towns to each other.

Then I drive onto a highway.

A highway links major cities and towns with each other.

I leave the highway when I reach the city.

I must be careful.

There's a lot of traffic in the city and there are many traffic lights. If the traffic light is red, I must stop.

I need 25 minutes from home to my work.

I park my car and turn it off.

Then I start working.
